Chicago Activities

3/17/2012 Integrity: Good People, Bad Choices, and Life Lessons with the White House
3/17/2012 - 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The Principia Clubs of Chicago are sponsoring this talk to be given by Egil "Bud" Krogh.  It will be given in Deefield on March 17 and Palos Heights on March 18.

About the talk:  Join us to hear Bud Krogh describe his unique experiences on Richard Nixon's White House staff.  He explains how the "slippery slope" of little decisions that lack integrity can lead to a major meltdown and bring about events such as Watergate.  From his experience, Krogh has developed the Integrity Zone, a model for making decisions that are based on integrity and are whole, right, and good.   He offers examples of how critical it is to be aware of the context of one's work in order to avoid external and internal threats to integrity, including secrecy, group think, pressure for results, arrogance, misplaced loyalty, and blind ambition.
